We’re thrilled to announce that Fontile has been recognized as one of the top suppliers in British Columbia’s construction industry at the 3rd Diamond Cup Award Ceremony, held yesterday evening at the River Rock Casino Resort.
The “Oscars of Canada’s Construction Industry”
Celebrated as the “Oscars of Canada’s Construction Industry,” the Diamond Cup Awards represent the pinnacle of recognition for excellence in architecture and construction. This prestigious event aims to honor outstanding enterprises and individuals who have made remarkable achievements and significant contributions to Canadian society through their work in the built environment.
Distinguished Recognition Process
The rigorous evaluation process was overseen by an esteemed judging panel featuring industry luminaries:
- Tarlok Sablok – Developer and Builder from Notray Public SOYPS
- Kevin Pan – Architect from Fraser Health
- Jacques Granadino – Director of Registration & Licensing at APEG BC
- Mr. Yuanzheng Chu – Executive Chair of the 5th and 10th terms of the Canadian Chinese Community Federation
The expert jury panel comprised senior officials from provincial and city-level planning departments, municipal councillors, industry experts, scholars, legal and tax professionals, and real estate leaders. Their systematic, multidimensional evaluation focused on five critical areas:
- Design innovation
- Project concept
- Construction quality
- Marketing strategy
- Business performance
After thorough discussion and anonymous quantitative scoring, the winners were selected from a competitive field of participants.
Industry-Wide Celebration
Hosted by the North America Architecture Industry General Chamber of Commerce (NAAIGCC), this year’s ceremony attracted over 40 participating companies and individuals representing diverse sectors of the industry, including:

- Development planning
- Material distribution
- Sales and marketing
