Porcelanosa promoted its first international architecture award this month in Milan. Aiming to recognize and promote the creativity of architects from all over the world, the competition elected the most outstanding projects in four categories: residential, commercial, hotel and public spaces. A total of 123 projects from 32 different countries were submitted.
The Award Ceremony was held in the BAM Botanical Garden, where five finalist from each category were exhibited from 6 to 14 May on modular panels placed throughout the place, as part of an exhibition for the Milan BAM Design Week.
The winning projects were:
– Residential – Casa Oriol (Valencia, Spain), by Alejandro Tejedor Asociados.
– Commercial – Al Hira Beach (Sharjah City, UAE), by 3 Deluxe Studio.
– Hotel – Hotel Gran Fiesta Americana (Oaxaca, Mexico), by Tresmasdos Arquitectos.
– Public Spaces – Al Qana (Abu Dhabi, UAE), by MZ Architects.
